The Caunce fleet of vehicles, Church Road, Rufford 1930s
Henry, Tommy, Harry and Bill Caunce Above: This superb photograph, taken in 1930, shows a fleet of wagons belonging to the Caunce family, parked together in Church Road.

The milk from the surrounding farms arrived at the depot in kits and would then be taken to dairies in Liverpool.

Left: Seen here are three generations of the Caunce family together with a couple of their early wagons. Grandfather Henry, Tommy and Harry and Bill in arms.
