Peace celebrations after World War 1 These local children at the Old Hall were taking part in `Peace Celebrations' following the great War. Lord Hesketh presented all the village children with a brand new 1918 shilling.

Village Parade through Rufford

Here the young ladies of the village paraded in all their finery together with their decorated cycles. Again this was in celebration of peace following the 1914-18 war.
