Work begins on the access to the proposed Marina site

July 2003 Latest news: Planning approval has reportedly been achieved but, due to the delays, it is now not deemed prudent to start the ground works as the water table would probably be at its highest during the critical stage of the operations.

It is now anticipated that the marina ground works will start in spring 2004 for completion in Autumn 2004.
